| Alan Fearnley was born in Yorkshire and studied at Batley College of Art. Initially his paintings included railway architecture but then he moved away from topographical and landscape compositions towards transport oriented mechanical subjects especially motor racing - motor sport being one of his loves! Alan Fearnley's oil on canvas paintings reflect his understanding of the world of motor racing and breadth of subject matter encompassed by it, and this is evident in that his work now attracts a large international following. |
